Shangdrok works with local herders and artisans in the Tibetan highlands, celebrating traditional textile techniques and the unique qualities of natural fibers.
Their Humble Woolen yarn is made from the fleece of Small-tailed Han sheep, spun into a light, lofty yarn with a little texture, and hand-dyed in Taiwan.
This fingering-weight yarn comes in 50g skeins with approximately 300 yards. I think it would be especially lovely for colorwork sweaters, but also great for hats, mittens and other cozy accessories.
