Shani of Bleu Poussière collaborated with designer Paula Pereira to create this spring in Tokyo-inspired colorway for the second installment of the 2020 Indie Untangled Where We Knit Yarn Club. For the club, dyers and designers create a colorway and an accompanying accessory pattern, drawing inspiration from various places where they whip out their works in progress.
Shani, a natural dyer out of Quebec, Canada, and Paula, who lives in São Paulo, Brazil, will welcome spring by looking to one of its well-known floral signs.
This lightly speckled colorway is dyed on Shani’s Helios, 437 yards of 50% Merino and 50% Mulberry Silk. It would make a lovely version of Paula Pereira's Talyse shawl, and would also look great in a sweater that requires some drape, such as:

Summer Trellis by Jill Zielinski

Love this yarn. Bleu Poussiere is actually local to me, so this yarn made a round-trip, but it’s lovely. Maybe a smidge more yellow than I anticipated, but I can’t wait to cast on the project I have in mind for this.
Soft yarn, but hardly any visible color to it! Wondering just ‘what’ it would add to a project?
