This is a DK-weight 3-ply yarn made from non-Superwash Shaniko wool, produced by a group of U.S. farms and ranches committed to high standards of traceability, animal and worker welfare, and responsible land management.
How much yarn should I order?
Each 3.5-oz/100g skein contains approximately 260 yards.
Additional motifs: You’ll need two skeins per additional motif.
Blanket borders: Based on the yarn requirements in the Stella Quilt Blanket pattern, we recommend:
- Lap blanket (what we're making in the club): Approximately 308g (four skeins)
- Square throw: Approximately 370g (four skeins)
- Rectangular throw: Approximately 431g (five skeins)
Actual yarn usage may vary depending on your gauge, so these recommendations allow for some extra yarn.
