- In stock, ready to ship
- Inventory on the way
The eighth year of the Indie Untangled Where We Knit yarn club brings together four new indie dyer and designer teams from around the world. Each pair will create a colorway and an accompanying accessory pattern, drawing inspiration from various places where they whip out their works in progress.
The club will start in February 2023. Every three months, you will receive one to two skeins of hand-dyed yarn in an exclusive colorway, a PDF pattern that will be exclusive for six months and a special gift based on the theme of each installment. After each installment ships out, you'll be invited to participate in an interactive Zoom interview with each team, learning more about their collaboration.
Here are the teams for 2023 (each of their inspiration photos are shown in the image collage here, clockwise starting from the top left):
~February~
Porter Wool Co and Samantha Guerin
Welcome Home: Like knitters around the world, Katlin and Samantha believe that home is where your yarn is. Home is a safe haven; a place to welcome in friends and share our love of this craft. Their inspiration photo of a botanical wreath, handmade by Lauren Cleary of Nova Wreaths, captures the essence of the warmth, joy and quiet moments that can be found at home.
~May~
Miss La Motte and Nidhi Kansal of knidhiknits
Ocean Hues: Karen, who is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and Nidhi, in Mumbai, India, are inspired by the vast ocean, and the vibrant islands — Maldives, Seychelles and Zanzibar — and cities — Chefchauoen in Morocco, Africa, and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India — that lie between them.
~August~
Hudson + West and Saysha Greene
Bourbon and Blues: Outdoor festivals are the perfect way to spend a summer day and where Saysha enjoys working on her latest project. Meghan and Sloane will create a special colorway of their non-Superwash, made-in-the-USA yarn that is imbued with the flavor of music and sunshine.
~November~
Knotty Pine Fiber Co. and Megan Nodecker of Pip & Pin
Mountain Hideaway: Kayla and Megan may be from different parts of the continent, British Columbia and Wyoming respectively, but they both share a deep love of the outdoors. Spending time in nature with family and friends, knitting needles in hand, is something very dear to both of them. This moody photo is from Megan's favorite mountain hideaway, during a quick break in the persistent November rain.
If you include your Ravelry ID, the designers will automatically add a copy of their pattern to your Ravelry library.
