Kayla of Knotty Pine Fiber Co., based in Wyoming, has taken inspiration from a painting of The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone by Thomas Moran, on display at the Interior Museum in Washington, DC.

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is dyed on Bighorn Sock, an 80/20 blend of Superwash Merino and nylon that comes in 400-yard skeins, perfect for socks, shawls and sweaters.

Your stashing benefits a good cause: 10% of all sales will be divided between the National Park Foundation and the Native American Rights Fund.

I love Knotty Pine Fiber Co and was thrilled that I had the opportunity to order this special colorway. The entire concept of Indie Untangled--connecting buyers and sellers to fiber, notions, and accessories fills a huge void and let's us, buyers connect with extremely talented artisans. Through Indie Untangled, I found my new favorite project bag designer/creator--WoolNeedleThread. I live in Austin and WoolThreadNeedle is in Houston--but for Indie Untangled I would not have known about this talented neighbor! Thank you and please keep making connections!
