Terri was inspired by this photo of Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming during a lightning storm, taken by photographer Matthew Breiter.
This colorway, which Terri named I Got One Just Like It In My Living Room (Close Encounters of the Third Kind) after the 1977 movie, which uses Devils Tower in its climax, will be dyed on two bases:
Bare Feet Sock, a classic blend of 75% Superwash Merino 25% nylon with 463 yards per skein, ideal for socks, as well as shawls, sweaters and other accessories
Community DK, a plump 100% Superwash Merino with 231 yards per skein, perfect for sweaters and cozy accessories
