Julie Asselin - Leaf Pile - Nurtured Aran

Julie and Jean-Francois created this colorway of their Nurtured base especially for Indie Untangled!

Nurtured is comprised of Rambouillet, Targhee and Merino that is hand dyed "in the wool" prior to being mill spun, giving the yarn a unique heathered look.

This is a woolen-spun, worsted-weight yarn with 130 yards per 56-gram skein.

You can make Casapinka’s Powder Wrap (WIP pictured), being released February 5, with seven skeins.

This yarn is ideal for cabled and textured hats, such as Faye Kennington's Winter Garden Hat for Knitrino (pictured — you'll need two skeins for this), Mary Annarella's Swipe Right and Take a Bough (pictured — you'll need one skein for this), Kristen Jancuk's Lunita and Ysolda Teague’s Ilo

It's also perfect for sweaters, including Marie Amelie’s Galane pullover and Shay Johnson’s As If Tee (both pictured), as well as Andrea Mowry's Nurtured and Thea Coleman’s Milk Stout

Sigh worthy yarn

I could not stop thinking about this yarn when I first saw it and it’s incredible name and color. Leaf pile! The color is absolutely gorgeous and this beautiful variegated muted pink. It’s also very soft and squishy. Can’t wait to knit my shawl.
